Service Description
Passent Tantawi is a professor of marketing at the Graduate School of Business and assistant dean for postgraduate international programs, Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Alexandria, Egypt. In addition to her academic experience which extends over 28 years and include smart and blended education delivery, she is passionate about developing learning experiences, graduation projects and various marketing majors and modules. She acted as a consultant for few service firms especially in developing integrated marketing communications and marketing plans. In 2008, she was awarded with distinction her Ph.D. from Brunel University, London, UK. Her main areas of specialization are consumer behavior, marketing communications and brand management. To her, understanding consumers behavior matters the most to achieve effective communication. In 2001, she achieved her MBA from the Graduate School of Business, and she was the marketing coordinator at the marketing & international business department till June 2010. In 2010 to September 2015, she was the chairperson and initiator of the Media Management Department at the College of Management & Technology. From 2016 till 2025 she has been assistant dean for Cardiff University Partnership Programs, at the Graduate School of Business. In addition to mastering marketing courses, she excelled in teaching main management courses, namely, contemporary management, product innovation, creativity and innovation, art entrepreneurship, leadership and organizational behaviour, service excellence, strategic management, customer relationship management and organizational design. Research publications include transformative consumer research, marketing communications, brand management and digital and social media marketing, service marketing, organizational behaviour, and leadership.
